Omicron Tau has had a successful 2006-2007 school year. In May 2006, Omicron Tau signed up for the Adopt-A-Highway program. Omicron Tau adopted a mile on Highway 1 going towards Poinsett County. Throughout the fall semester, we performed various community service projects in the community and at school. Omicron Tau had it's first successful party on November 16, 2006 with the brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Throughout the spring semester, Omicron Tau planned hard for their Sigma Week. Our week, RHOspect Our Grind, was very, very successful.
Omicron Tau was very proud of the success of their second week ever at Arkansas State University. We truly thank everyone that came out and supported us. We truly thank the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. for assisting us in our week. Omicron Tau also had a Rhoyal blessing during the Spring semester. We inducted one member, Alicia Halfacre. We are very happy to have her in our chapter. Omicron Tau is also proud of Keshia Graham, who received New Member of the Year for NPHC at the Arkansas State Annual Greek Awards on April 1, 2007 and Genesis Watkins for being elected NPHC president for 2007-2008 school year.
Omicron Tau plans to have a successful 2007-2008. We have many activities lined up for the school year. Omicron Tau's plans are to have a greater school year than last.
Omicron Tau has three members graduating. Chelseah Smith, Brittany Straw, and Markita Tomlin will be graduating on August 3, 2007. We will truly miss them and will cherish all the contributions that they have provided for the chapter.
