President's Letter

WELCOME, on behalf of the Enticing Eta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. Whether you are a soror or individual seeking information on the activities of the Eta Upsilon chapter, the Ladies of this chapter hope that you are enlightened and find what you are looking for on our website.  Much planning and hard work goes into every social program, community service, and/or awareness event because we have great pride in our sorority and want to continually strive to implement the following portion of our pupose, “Service to ALL mankind.”  We extend our services to ASU and the Jonesboro community through programs such as Highway Cleanup, AIDS/HIV awareness, Helping Neighbors Food Pantry, Buckle Up Safety, Sisterhood Sipper, Soul food Sunday, Daycare visits, Nursing home visits, and Breast Cancer awareness, just to name a few.  It is our ultimate goal to uplift the dreams of the founders of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.  through our purpose:

    "To cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems corning girls and women to improve the social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of service to all mankind."
